This week's lesson dealt with Layers.  I've already discovered what a wonderful thing layers are!  However, I still learned something new this week.  I didn't know I could get a layer perfectly lined up by using the CTL-E shortcut with my mouse on the title bar.

This is the sailboat picture from the lesson. This combined a sunset with a picture of a sailboat and gull.

Here is the "rainbow color wheel" from the lesson. This shows how different layers can be combined. I like the effect from the black and white gradient rings - this gives a great effect of depth. I have that tucked away for future reference! This image was saved as a gif, as instructed.
