This is a picture of all my nieces and nephews, except for Tony, who is currently serving in the Marines and is over in Iraq. The picture is washed out and blue.

First some gamma to reduce the blue.

I used the curve setting to take the RGB down a bit. I didn't change anything else.

And here is the histogram with changes in luminosity at both ends. I love what I can do with these functions.  I know I need more practice - especially with the curve adjustment, but I can make lots of changes that will help my old photos. This one, especially, printed out nicely.
