If you had told me at the beginning of this class I'd be
using bezier curves, I'd said you were crazy, heehee. However, by
the end of the lesson (and with a bit of playing around), I got pretty
used to them - even though I'm no artist. |
|

Here's my text, and also a transparent gif at the same
time. I added a drop shadow to the text and the oval I filled with a
pattern. |

This is my freehand flower. I made it a transparent gif,
but it looks like I have some shadowing of the background color.. |
|

I made the line a transparent gif. I could use it as a separator

Ah, fun with shapes and lines! The left image is
made almost entirely from the drawing tool. It's mostly Bezier curves with
a pattern style as the foreground and no background. The top and bottom of
the "curtain" is a point-to-point line, pattern fill, and I used a preset
shape for the center images, again pattern fill. I don't know which
drawing tool I would "use the most" as I'm not very artistic. The
right image is made from preset shapes, except for the girl's eyes and
mouth, which are freehand drawing. The girl was done without the
"retain style checked" and the guy had the "retain style" checked.
The picture definitely has the "jpg jaggies" |
