I learned a lot this week. I found one thing I like better in PSP and one in PS (well, actually 2 - the brushes are better in PS, but I'm not an artist so I don't know how much I'll actually use this feature).

I like the scratch removal tool in PSP much better than the healing brush in PS. I played around with some of the other settings in PS for the healing brush, and I can see some potential uses - it has more flexibility that PSP's clone brush, but if I need to touch up scratches I'll use PSP.

The history brush in PS is fantastic! I can already see how I'll make lots of use of this brush in my digital image manipulations. This is a really powerful tool.

Because of the number of lesson examples, this week's homework assignments are on three pages, so please click "NEXT" here or at the bottom.

This is the airbrush exercise. Lots of flexibility.

Image one playing with some of the tip settings - no intent to make anything, just random "fooling around."

Image two playing with brush settings. This was the same brush at a variety of settings.

Image one changing brush preset settings. The same foreground/background colors were used for every brush on here.

Image two changing brush preset settings. I used my name for the brush. Again, same foreground/background colors.
