This week was fun. I like the way masks work in
Photoshop better than PaintShop Pro. They seem more intuitive and I like
the visibility feature. |

The Spooky Castle - I liked some of the filter features
we used here. I could have lots of fun with these.

Here's the castle again, but this time I added some nice water to the
front, as if you were looking at it from afar. I skewed the sky to
change the density of the clouds and also played with an adjustment
layer (I know, I'm probably getting ahead of a lesson) and lightened the
sky a bit.

Here are two pictures I took during my Caribbean cruise. The one I took
from the water while scuba diving, the other onboard ship because I
liked the sunset. I liked the water shot, but the sky was a bit dull and
the whole right side seemed bare and lacked depth. So, using the
layer/mask techniques we learned with the castle, I combined the two.
(This picture looks pretty good at a larger size). |
