I liked this week much better than last week. I love manipulating photos and improving on them. The first half of the lesson dealt with resizing and resampling, the second half with coloring black and white images. I liked the explanations for the differences between resizing and resampling.

Here's the image I worked with. Another one of my underwater pictures. This is of a school of grunts. I thought it was an interesting picture.

I resampled this picture using each of the three methods. I don't notice much difference between bicubic and bilinear. Personally, I always use bicubic

With the bicubic picture, I adjusted the levels, on the left. After level adjustment, I sharpened the picture (on the right) using Smart Sharpen. I really like this filter, it gives you a lot of flexibility with the sharpen and using the advanced settings you can even sharpen the highlights and shadows differently.
