I love when I start off the very first week learning something new - especially something new and useful! I learned more this  week about levels than I ever understood. I "played" with them before, but never really correlated what I was doing with them. I love the method given for hand adjusting the levels using the color palette. I don't know if that's even an option is PSP. What a great feature! I also liked the way you straighten an image - once I got used to it. I like the straighten in PSP, but you don't really get to crop at the same time.

This is the image I worked with. It's my step-granddaughter showing me her karate kick. As you can see, it's really crooked. It's also a bit too blue.

Here's the image cropped and straightened.

This is the image using auto levels. Not too bad and I would accept this.

This is the image using hand levels. This is even nicer - and it was so easy to do!
