The name BRITUSA is a combination of my homeland, the USA, and my husband's, Britain. I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  I met my husband in England in 1989 when I was stationed with the U.S. Army at Burtonwood Royal Air Force Base, Warrington.  At the time, he worked at Sutton Manor Pit, St Helens. (Both places have since closed). We married in 1991 and moved first to Germany and then to the US. We currently reside in Ephrata, PA (in the heart of Amish Country).
